Abstract | The purpose of this study is to provide guidance on the technical and economic feasibility of an integrated utility system that would use coal and solid waste as fuels for producing steam and electricity for all of the needs of the University of Florida. The report includes the technologies of the existing system, a coal reference system, a coal cogeneration system, and an integrated utility system along with the economics of first year operation. |
