Abstract |
This report contains discussions of 21 thermal processes identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) as innovative processes for treating or destroying hazardous organic wastes. The subject processes were identified through two national solicitations for innovative processes and several extensive literature surveys. Information about the subject processes was provided voluntarily by the process developers. The criteria used for selection of a process for the report included the innovativeness of the process when compared with conventional existing processes and the potential contribution the process could make to the evolving field of hazardous waste management technology. |
