Abstract | The results of a survey to determine the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the Haw River, Reedy Fork Creek, and Buffalo Creek system in North Carolina are presented. The data is to be used to develop an oxygen sag mathematical model of the streams, to determine the waste assimilation capacity of the Haw River and its major tributaries, and to define water quality conditions for the water upstream from the proposed Corps of Engineers New Hope Reservoir. |
