Abstract |
This document, Quantitative Risk and Exposure Assessment for Carbon Monoxide, describes the quantitative human exposure assessment and risk characterization being conducted to inform the U.S. Environmental Protection Agencys (EPAs) current review of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for carbon monoxide (CO). Given the significant time constraints of this review,1 results of the analyses are provided in this document without substantial interpretation. Rather, interpretative discussion of these results is provided in the Policy Assessment document for the review (US EPA, 2010a). |
