Contents Notes |
The Models-3 third generation air quality modelling system was implemented and tested for the purpose of determining the possibility of using the system in Canadian regions and for evaluating bilateral Canada-US emission reduction strategies. An overview of the design philosophy and the componenets of the Models-3 framework and the first air quality model operating under the framework is given. A detailed analysis of the data requirements for successful implementation in Canada was carried out, and a set of potential strategies and their resource requirements is outlined. |
