Abstract |
This study was run on four groups of Sprague-Dawley rats, five 8 males and five females per group. The pharmacotoxic signs included prostration, impaired righting, bradypnea, hypoactivity, and lacrimation. Pathology included hemorrhage and congestion of visceral organs. The combined male and female oral LD, for rats is 3046 mg/kg with 95% confidence limits of 2768 to 3353 mg/kg. |
