Abstract | Phenylenediamines recommended for testing by the Interagency Testing Committee are grouped to facilitate economic evaluation. Production data are provided, presenting summary data on producers, production processes, uses and substitutes. U.S. production of phenylenediamines (in thousands of pounds) is estimated as follows: toluenediamines - from 0 to 677,800; unsubstituted phenylenediamines (p-, m-, and o-) - from 0 to 48,000; substituted phenylenediamines, nitro derivatives - from 1 to 10, and chlorine derivatives - from 1 to 10. |
