Abstract | Cumene (CAS No. 98-82-8) was evaluated for neurotoxicity in a functional test of auditory brainstem responses to tone pips. The test substance was administered by inhalation to rats (10/sex/group) at 0, 50, 100, 500, and 1,200 ppm 6 hours/day, 5 days/week for 13 weeks. There were no effects on the auditory function of rats after exposure to cumene. |
