Abstract | The book reviews the field of aquatic toxicology, a rapidly evolving science. On the down side, little or no emphasis was placed on topics such as toxic sediments, nonpoint-source pollution, acid precipitation, or hazardous wastes. In general, though, the volume is a welcome addition to the shelves of graduate schools, researchers, applied scientists, and technical administrators. |
