Abstract |
A 16-valve, 4-cylinder light-duty automotive engine has been converted to operation on a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO) gaseous fuel in a 2:1 molar ratio of H2 and CO. This engine has been used to investigate the difference in emission levels and power output between two different fuels. M100 neat methanol and simulated dissociated methanol gaseous fuel (2H2/CO). |
