Abstract |
The need for a method to evaluate the applicability and potential effectiveness of urban water resource systems and in particular combined sewer control systems is established by: a discussion of its importance as an interface between the public works manager and urban water subsystems using automation and control; the presentation by a flow chart of the decision making process which determines whether all or part of a combined sewer system should be automated, and identification of the vital information needed by the user relative to the adoption and implementation of automation and control schemes for combined sewers.
