Abstract | SRI International examined 3M Company's Compounds T-2591Ac and T-2592Ac for mutagenic activity with strains TAl535, TAl537, TAl538, TA98, and TALOO of Salmonella typhimurium in the standard Ames Salmonella/microsome assay and with the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae D3. Each assay was performed in the presence and in the absence of a rat liver metabolic activation system. Neither T-2591Ae nor 'r-2592Ac was mutagenic or recombinogenic in any assay performed. |
