Abstract |
The report describes a series of experiments on the measurement of the overall oxygen transfer coefficient and the liquid film coefficient in solutions of surface active materials. Methods for measuring dissolved oxygen under test conditions and the procedures determining the liquid film coefficient, (K sub L), are described. A study of the effect of temperature on the overall oxygen transfer coefficient and the liquid film coefficient is presented. The effect of this temperature in various concentrations of an organic acid was also evaluated. (Author) |
