Abstract |
The basic objective of this feasibility study is to determine whether or not a truck operated on a mode cycle designed to closely simulate actual city operation will or will not give exhaust emissions that reasonably duplicate those obtained during the road operation of the vehicle. The information obtained in this project shows that this duplication of actual exhaust emission in road route operation is feasible. The information obtained in this study on one truck will provide data on which to base the second phase of the overall survey of truck and bus emission. |
