Abstract | The ability of acetone cyanohydrin to cause chromosome aberrations was evaluated in bone marrow cells of Sprague-Dawley CD rats (24/sex/group) receiving a single administration of test material at 0, 1.5, 5 or 15mg/kg by oral gavage. Sacrifice was at 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after administration of test material. No statistically significant increases (KW-ANOVA) in the frequency of chromosome aberrations were observed at any dose level regardless of sacrifice time compared to the controls. |
