Abstract |
The views and comments received from the Governor of each of the 50 States as to the present water problems of his State and those anticipated to arise between the present time and 1980 range from brief letters commenting on the major problems facing a state to elaborate treatises covering all aspects of water resource development in the state, with projections of needs into the future. As our national water problems are essentially a composite of the many local and state problems, the responses received from the states make up a valuable compendium of information which makes a good background for looking at our national water resources problems. |
