Abstract
This Student Workbook is used in conjunction with Course 427, 'Combustion Evaluation' as applied to air pollution control situations. The workbook was prepared by the EPA Air Pollution Training Institute (APTI) to provide problem solving exercises of typical combustion calculations as a supplement to the course lecture materials. Sample problems are presented for: Combustion fundamentals, Combustion design, Emission calculations, Pollutant concentrations, Afterburner design, and Fuel requirements.
