Abstract |
The report represents a preliminary examination of present and future municipal and industrial water supply and stream quality control needs in the Touchet River Basin with particular reference to the feasibility of providing storage and/or flow regulation to serve these needs in the Bureau of Reclamation's proposed Dayton Reservoir of the Touchet Division, Walla Walla Project, Washington. The report identifies uses and sources of water in the proposed project area and describes sources of waste, waste treatment practices and the effect of waste effluents and other materials on the quality of specific reaches of the Touchet River.
