Abstract |
The report gives results of fabric filter analyses of flyash from three utility boilers. A major aim of the program was to augment the present data base for modeling fabric filter systems designed to control inhalable particulate (IP) emissions from coal-fired boilers. Emphasis was placed on the determination of K sub 2, the flyash specific resistance coefficient, and a sub c, a parameter describing fabric cleanability. Fabric filter design, operating, and performance data were analyzed with the assistance of utility personnel from Harrington and Monticello stations of K sub 2 were made for flyash produced by the three plants because K sub 2 could not be estimated from field data alone. |
