Abstract |
The report gives results of a review of the CO2 Acceptor Coal Gasification Process from the standpoint of its effect on the environment. The quantities of solid, liquid, and gaseous effluents have been estimated, where possible, as well as the thermal efficiency of the process. For the purpose of reducing environmental impact, a number of possible process modifications or alternatives have been proposed and new technology needs have been pointed out. |
