Abstract |
The paper discusses data logging systems for monitoring long-term radon mitigation experimental programs in schools and other large buildings. Several mitigation systems have been installed in schools as part of a mitigation research program conducted by the U.S. EPA. Each installation has several parameters that need to be monitored continuously to allow evaluation of system operation. Several data logging systems are described, including custom and commercial units. Wired and wireless coupling of sensors and logger, as well as on-site and remote access to the data, is also discussed. Data from several projects are presented. |
