Abstract |
One of the major objectives of the Regional Air Pollution Study (RAPS) is to provide data on the emissions of air pollutants, meteorological conditions and ambient air quality with unprecedented density and resolution as to allow the testing and development of spectrum of mathematical models to simulate relationships between emissions of pollutants and air quality. As part of this effort a methodology for estimating the pollutant emissions from stationary residential and commercial-institutional area sources on an hour-by-hour basis and apportioning them to the RAPS grid system is presented. |
