Abstract | Because of conflicting literature statements on the quantity of percutaneous penetration of benzene, we examined this chemical in a series of experiments with the rhesus monkey in vivo (Maibach, H. and Anjo, M., in preparation). The experiment was performed to determine the penetration of benzene through the forearm of man, so that this could be correlated with the previous rhesus experiment. |
