Abstract | Various limnological parameters have been measured in Shagawa Lake, a culturally eutrophic lake in northeastern Minnesota, from 1970-1972. These included temperature; specific conductance; dissolved oxygen; alkalinity; pH; total and orthophosphate phosphorus; nitrate, nitrite and ammonia nitrogen; chlorophyll a; transparency; major cations; and selected trace elements. The lake exhibited many characteristics of high productivity. |
