Abstract |
The Clean Air Act's (CAA's) purpose is to protect and enhance the quality of the nations air resources (Section 101(b)). Under the authority of Section 112 of the CAA as amended in 1990, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or the Agency) is currently developing a National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) to reduce emissions generated during the production of reinforced plastic composites (RPCs). This report evaluates the economic impacts of three regulatory alternatives that are designed to control these releases. |
