Abstract |
The report gives results of an assessment of the applicability of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) technology to industrial boilers and is one of a series to aid in determining the technological basis for a New Source Performance Standard for Industrial Boilers. The development status and performance of alternative FGD control techniques were assessed and the cost, energy, and environmental impacts of the most promising were identified. The report does not consider combinations of technology to remove all pollutants, and these findings have not undergone detailed assessments for regulatory action. |
