| Abstract |
It is not the intention of the report to point out all the deficiencies in the knowledge of sewage treatment biology, chemistry and operation but rather to mention some of the advances that have been made in practical experimentation and to discuss somewhat more fully some of the phases of research on the natural purification processes of polluted water and sewage. |
