Abstract |
Facilitated transport is an issue identified by the Regional Superfund Ground-Water Forum as a concern of Superfund decision-makers. The issue paper presents the various facilitated transport mechanisms that have been verified in laboratory experiments. Additionally, the practical considerations concerning the potential role of facilitated transport at Superfund sites are presented. |
