Abstract |
A description of some chemicals that are used in chemotherapy and pyschotherapy is presented in relation to their mutagenic activity. A comparison of the mutagenic activity of these pharmaceutical compounds together with some industrial chemicals is also made to understand their relationship with teratogenicity and carcinogenicity. The majority of these chemicals exhibited a good correlation between mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, and teratogenicity. |
