Abstract | Midwest Research Institute (MRI), in conjuction with the General Services Administration (GSA) and the National Center for Resource Recovery (NCRR), conducted a series of emission tests at the Virginia Heating and Refrigeration Plant (VHRP) in Arlington, Virginia (this plant provides steam heat or refrigerated air to the Pentagon building). The study was designed to obtain emission data while one of the steam boilers was co-fired with different blends of coal and densified refuse-derived fuel (d-RDF). |
