Abstract |
In a study of an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer, data from an early commercially available instrument are compared with data from the same instrument after modifications to correct observed inadequacies were made. Results show negligible changes in powers of detection but considerable reductions in scattered light interferences following the installation of a holographic grating. |
