Abstract | The purpose of the study was the determination of the necessary pollution control releases from the proposed Salem Church, VA, reservoir project. The study was to be accomplished by assigning a mobile laboratory and necessary field crew to work on the Rappahannock River in the vicinity of Fredericksburg, VA, for a sampling period of about three weeks. The data in the report was to include the collection of water samples from the Rappahannock River above and through the reservoir area and in the tidal estuary below Fredericksburg to determine the effect of existing pollution on the stream. |
