Abstract |
Since September 1964, the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration has conducted annual synoptic surveys for chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticides in surface waters. The purpose is to provide information on present levels and trends of pesticides in waters to permit pollution control authorities to assess the degree of hazard and, if necessary, to provide the required control. The report summarizes the data obtained throughout the five surveys with emphasis on the 1967 and 1968 surveys. |
