Abstract |
A Nafion membrane dryer was used to dry samples of organic gases emitted by vegetation before chromatographic separation to reduce water-related retention time variations on a fused-silica column. The dryer caused rearrangement of several monoterpenes and removed several important oxygenated compounds from the samples. Therefore, it was concluded the Nafion dryer was not suitable for this application. (Copyright (c) 1983 Elsevier Science Publishers B.V.) |
