Abstract | In order to provide water resource managers with a useful planning methodology, the economic impact of five reservoirs or reservoir complexes is studied. The study subjects are West Fork of Mill Creek Reservoir in Hamilton County, Ohio, Dewey Reservoir in Floyd County, Kentucky, Rough River Reservoir in Grayson and Breckenridge Counties, Kentucky, Wolf Creek Dam in Kentucky, and a group of fifteen reservoirs in the Muskingum River basin in South Central Ohio. Analysis of the impact of these reservoirs proceeds by analyzing fourteen specific impact issues. (Author) |
