The objective of the testing at the Youngstown Sinter Company (YSC) plant in Youngstown, Ohio, was to perform all activities necessary to characterize the baghouse sintering plant windbox (Strand Baghouse) for the following emission components: Particulate mass (PM) and metal HAPs using EPA Method 29; and Dioxins/furans (D/F) and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) using EPA Method 23. The discharge end baghouse (Baghouse A ) was tested for the following emission components: Particulate mass (PM) and metal HAPs using EPA Method 29.
