Abstract |
A novel electrodialysis ion exchange resin in particulate form has been developed which displays an alkylbenzene sulfonates sorptive capacity superior to that of any of the presently available commercial ion exchange resins tested. Novel ion exchange membranes have been developed which display porosities superior to those of commercially available ion exchange membranes tested. To a limited extent, these novel membranes permit the passage of large organic molecules, such as ABS, under electrodialytic conditions. Experimentation in the renovation of waste water by means of electrodialysis is shown. |
