Abstract |
This paper is a discussion of issues relating to the appropriate selection of endpoints (biological and statistical) for current Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing methods with emphasis on the more contentious chronic tests. This workgroup also discussed the utility and information value of recent methods for conducting WET tests. The chapter covers background and history, biological endpoint issues and recommendations, statistical endpoint issues, and overall conclusions and recommendations. |
