Abstract |
The federal goverment sponsored the study to assist the State of Ohio in an intensive review of its environmental protection activities, which led to a recommended design for consolidation of presently separated environmentally related activities into a single State agency. The report summarizes the organizational design study effort; the assessment of environmental issues and objectives; and the sstudy team's diagnosis of present operations, including findings and recommendations for organizational design. The new organizational design is described in detail, with examples illustrating how sample operations would be handled; and an approach to implementation of the new design is presented. (Author) |
