Abstract
The purpose of the investigation was to determine the need for and value of water supply and/or water quality control storage in the proposed St. Petersburg Reservoir, located on the Clarion River in Clarion County, PA. In analyzing water supply and water quality control needs consideration was given to present and potential water users and waste sources along the Allegheny River from the Allegheny River Reservoir near Warren, PA, to Pittsburgh, PA; the Ohio River from Pittsburgh, PA, to the Pennsylvania-West Virginia state line, and areas adjacent to the proposed St. Petersburg Reservoir.
