| Abstract |
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) operated the National Aerometric Data Bank for the storage, summary, and retrieval of aerometric data. Data are submitted to EPA from local, state, and Federal air pollution control agencies as well as a limited number of private institutions. This publication included a listing of all monitoring sites which have submitted a SAROAD (Storage and Retrieval of Aerometric Data) Site Identification Form. The SAROAD site code identifies the sampling site location and is assigned by EPA. It identifies the following: state; county, parish or air pollution district in the state; particular site within the city or county; type agency responsible for the sample analysis; and type of project being conducted at the site. The directory contains a computer listing of all site information currently stored in the National Aerometric Data Bank. |
