| Abstract | This decision document represents the selected Final Remedial Action for the Yeoman Creek Landfill Site in Waukegan, Illinois. This final action includes containment of landfilled wastes, excavation and on-site containment of contaminated soils and sediments, collection and treatment of leachate entering Yeoman Creek, and recovery and treatment of landfill gases. This final action also addresses releases of leachate to ground water, surface water, surface sediments, and wetlands; and release of landfill gases to air. |
