Abstract
The Kansas City District of the Corps of Engineers requested the Public Health Service to make an investigation of the present and prospective needs for municipal and industrial water supply and for the regulation of streamflow for water quality control in the Marmaton River Basin. The purpose of this study is to determine the need for and value of storage for municipal and industrial water supply and streamflow regulation for quality control in the Marmaton River, a tributary of the Osage River. The study area is the Marmaton River Watershed. The study covers the period of 1960 to 2060. (Author Modified Abstract)
