Abstract
Synthetic anhydrite (calcium sulphate), produced from the production of hydrogen fluoride acid, is prepared to form a standardized anhydrite binder for use in floor construction in buildings. Part of the anhydrite produced is applied in the cement industry as a setting regulator. Conventional method is to dispose of the anhydrite. The low waste technology process involves an additional step of milling to reduce the grain size, requiring additional classifiers, mills, and bagging apparatus.
