| Abstract |
The National Directory of AHERA Accredited Courses is intended primarily for use by federal and state agencies involved in the training and accreditation of asbestos control professionals under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA), as amended by the Asbestos School Hazard Abatement Reauthorization Act of 1990 (ASHARA), under which the EPA Model Acreditation plan was issued. It contains information about training providers approved courses nationwide and is meant to serve as a comprehensive reference and resource document. It should also be useful for those training providers who offer accredited asbestos courses and to all consumers of these training services. |
