Abstract
This report presents the findings of the 5-year review of the national emission standards for mercury. Industries subject to the existing standard are mercury-cell chlor-alkali plants, sludge drying and incineration plants, and mercury ore processing facilities. Information and estimates are presented concerning processes, mercury emissions, control technology, compliance status, and industry growth. Information is presented about other industry source categories which have mercury air emissions, but are not regulated by the standards.
