Abstract
Hourly average concentrations of eight gaseous pollutants (carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, total hydrocarbons, total oxidants, methane hydrocarbon, and non-methane hydrocarbons), and 2-hour measurements of soiling index are tabulated for Philadelphia. A brief summary of monthly means and maximums and graphs of seasonal diurnal patterns of gaseous pollutants are also included. Annual frequency distributions of the data pertaining to gases and soiling index for Philadephia, and also for Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, St. Louis, and Washington, D. C. are tabulated. (Author)
