Abstract |
This document recommends procedures for estimating if a control strategy to reduce emissions of ozone precursors will lead to attainment of the 8-hour national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) for ozone. The document also describes how to apply air quality models to generate the predictions later used to see if attainment is shown. The guidance consists of two major parts. Part I addresses the question, 'how do I use the results of models and other analyses to help demonstrate attainment.' Part II of the guidance describes how to apply air quality models. |
