Abstract
The modeling system is an interim version of a state-of-science model for secondary aerosols. It is an extension of the original sulfate-ammonium-water species version and now includes the nitrate and organic contributions. The overall chemical system, the formation and distribution between the inorganic species, is sensitive to the available ammonia which controls aerosol acidity. This version of RPM was designed to utilize results of RADM to perform assessments of control strategies designed to support provisions of the 1990 CAAA.
