Abstract
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the probable effect of the proposed project on water quality in the lower Shoshone River Basin and in Yellowtail Reservoir on the Bighorn River; to ascertain the benefits or damages resulting from changes in water quality; to assess the suitability of the water for proposed water uses; and, to determine water quality control needs. The study area includes the lower Shoshone River Basin in Park and Big Horn Counties in Wyoming and a portion of the Bighorn River Basin in Big Horn County, Wyoming and Big Horn County, Montana.
